After having undergone the enriching experience of discovering a culture beyond media images and popular stereotypes, The founders created Anzar Exchange in 2008.

Anzar Exchange has three programs :Tree Planting Initiative , Goods Exchange and Promotion and Ecotourism

The Begining

Fatima Ajerd, our beloved grandmother, was the mother of 7 and the grandmother of 19.

Her life was tragically taken away in October 2008 during a severe flood that trapped her inside her house.

We dedicate the work of Anzar Exchange to her memory. Her life will not be forgotten.

We also hold her surviving husband, whom we know as Balhajj, in our thoughts and prayers as he deals with the grief of losing his house, all his belongings and his cherished wife.
